Halftones, 2018
Walnut, maple, resin

Halftones is a small series of works that utilize halftones, a printmaking technique, to create imagery. Moon and John Glenn are made by drilling holes of various sizes and filling them with tinted epoxy resin. FDR is made by drilling holes into a maple panel and inserting walnut plugs.

Because of the repetitive production method of these works, these works become individual meditations on and questions about a 20th Century idea of progress.
