Penn State Abington Art Gallery
January 16 - February 26, 2017

Where We Find Ourselves is an exhibition that explores the at-times unexpected ways in which queerness intersects with the quotidian and how queer individuals look to see ourselves reflected in the mirror of mainstream culture, often through inference and interpretation. The exhibition includes works in photography, painting, video, digital collage and mixed media, and presents a variety of cultural lenses through which one can see the manner in which queer identity is both formed and affirmed in everyday life and the common ground we all share in finding ourselves.
