Richard Dreyfuss, 2009

Richard Dreyfuss is a thesis project installed in the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. This work was constructed off-site to the dimensions of the exhibition space, dismantled, transported, and reassembled inside the gallery. This piece is the culmination of research on 20th Century labor practices as reflected in the artist’s home town of Feasterville-Trevose, and reflects the DIY culture and aesthetic seen in homes and garages in the area just outside Northeast Philadelphia
